Spilhuset.dk A/S fined for breach of the gambling legislation
On 29 July 2025, Spilhuset.dk A/S has accepted a fine of DKK 3,000 for breaching the gambling legislation’s rules on inspection of the linked progressive feature game.
On 29 July 2025, Spilhuset.dk A/S has accepted a fine of DKK 3,000 for breaching section 16(1) cf. section 21(1) of the Executive Order no. 1289 of the 29th of November 2019 on gaming machines in gambling arcades and restaurants.
The breach consisted in Spilhuset.dk A/S on 19 march 2025 at the gambling venue Spilhuset, located at Islevhusvej 43, 2700 Brønshøj, had offered the progressive feature game Lykkehjul with the ID no. 20042999 even though it was last inspected in February 2020.
The five-year deadline for inspection had expired, and the inspection certificate was therefore, no longer valid. For each progressive feature game being installed, the rules require an inspection certificate from an accredited testing company, which must be no more than five years.
