In a new agreement between the Danish Consumer Ombudsman, the Gambling Advertising Board and the Danish Gambling Authority, the authorities and the board will coordinate their efforts, when they intervene with illegal marketing of gambling in Denmark.

The Danish Gambling Authority has previously announced that the Maritime and Commercial Court on 5 March 2024 ruled in favour of the bankruptcy estate in a case between the bankruptcy estate and a player. The player’s claim for payment of the balance on his gaming account was thereby rejected.

In November 2023 and April 2024, several authorities conducted case-based training on AML and financing of terrorism. The interest in participating far exceeded the availability of seats. Therefore, we offer a new round of case-based training on 31 October 2024.
