See key figures for the Danes' gambling spend in August 2022

Key figures on the Danes' gambling spend in August 2022 is now available on the Danish Gambling Authority's website. In the monthly overview, you can see how much Danes spent on online casino, betting, gaming machines and land-based casinos.

Among other things, the monthly overview shows that the spending on gaming machines and land-based casinos increased in 2022 compared to the same period in 2021. The increase may be due to the lockdowns affecting the two gambling sectors in 2021 in connection with Covid-19.

The data is available in a PowerBI report and in Excel.

Danes' gambling spend increased in February 2024

The total gambling spend on betting, online casino, gaming machines and land-based casino amounted to DKK 587 million in February 2024. This corresponds to an increase of 18.3 per cent compared to February 2023.
