Requirement to submit financial report before applying for next lottery:

In order to obtain a new licence to organise a charity lottery, it is required that the provider has submitted the financial report from the latest lottery to the Danish Gambling Authority.

In exceptional cases, an exemption from these requirements may be made.

It has come to The Danish Gambling Authority's attention that several providers of charity lotteries are challenged by this, since they may no longer make use of class lottery concepts when organising charity lotteries.

Temporary dispensation from the rules:

In order to make a smoother transition from one procedure to another, The Danish Gambling Authority has decided that during the period up until and including June 30 2017, a temporary dispensation from the requirement to submit the financial report from the latest lottery before applying for a new charity lottery may be given.

Please note that only one outstanding financial report at a time will be accepted.
