Blocking of illegal websites upheld by the High Court

On the 26th of May 2021, the Eastern High Court upheld a verdict ruled by the Copenhagen City Court on the 2nd of March. Thereby, the blocking of 55 illegal websites is now final.
The internet service providers appealed the decision from the Copenhagen City Court, since they found that a website can only be blocked if the Danish Gambling Authority can prove that Danish players have in fact gambled with the website in question.
However, the Danish Gambling Authority was also successful in the High Court, and thereby, the case is now concluded and the 55 illegal sites continues to be blocked.
