System error in ROFUS
Over the summer, the Danish Gambling Authority identified a system error in our self-exclusion register (ROFUS). About 1,300 players were affected, but the error has now been restored.
The error meant that approximately 1,300 persons who had excluded themselves from gambling in ROFUS either did not appear in the system or appeared with the wrong date.
The affected individuals have now been restored to the system and will be notified directly.
The error has also been reported to the Danish Data Protection Agency as a data breach without a leak of data.
The Danish Gambling Authority makes great efforts to ensure that ROFUS is a stable and reliable service that can be trusted. It is therefore also very regrettable that there has been a failure in the system.
