“The Gambling Market in Numbers 2022”: key figures from 2022
For the third time, the Danish Gambling Authority releases the report “The Gambling Market in Numbers”, which provides an overview of the year that has passed on the Danish gambling market.
Among other things, the report reviews the development in the various gambling sectors in 2022. It also includes key figures for ROFUS (register of self-excluded players) and StopSpillet, the Danish Gambling Authority’s helpline about responsible gambling.
In the last months of 2022, the World Cup took place, and in this connection, the report takes a closer look at the Danes’ spending on betting. Data clearly shows increased activity on the betting market the days when Denmark played.
