On 15 July 2024, the Danish Gambling Authority invited interested parties to comment on the updated certification programme for betting and online casino after the introduction of supplier licences. Now, the certification programme has been revised and submitted for notification at the EU.

In August 2024, the Danes’ total spending on betting, online casino, gaming machines and land-based casino amounted to DKK 571 million. This is an increase of 4.3 per cent compared with August 2023.
