In Q3 the GGR for online casino grew nearly 25 per cent compared to the same quarter in 2014. The growth rate for online casino was more than 20 per cent in Q1 and Q2 2015 too. This is a higher growth rate than we have seen in 2013-2014 where the growth rate usually has been around 10 per cent.
In October 2015 there were approximately 25,000 gaming machines in gaming halls and restaurants.
The GGR reached 385 M DKK in Q3 2015. This is 15 M DKK more than the same quarter 2014. This is the third quarter in a row with an increase in GGR – compared to the equal quarter the year before. This could indicate the GGR for gaming machines has stabilized after some years with relatively large declines.
