Report about supply of gambling

No later than 14 months after a licence for online casino has been put to use, the licencee must submit a report on the supply of gambling to the Danish Gambling Authority. The report explains whether, during the past year, you have offered gambling in accordance with the terms of your licence

The report must be prepared by a company that has been approved by the Danish Gambling Authority to carry out this work.
You must use form 2-05. Below you will find a list of the companies that are approved to prepare a report on the provision of gambling.

Content of the report

The report is divided into three parts:

Part 1: Statistical information about the licence holder’s provision of gambling.

Part 2: The licence holder must provide a detailed explanation of how specific rules in the gambling legislation have been complied with.

Part 3: The approved company must attest that the licence holder has offered gambling in a professionally responsible manner.

The first two parts must be completed by the licence holder, while the third part must be prepared by the approved company. Part three must be based partly on the licence holder’s responses in the first two parts of the report and partly on any additional material that the approved company deems necessary in order to prepare the report.

Role of the approved company

The approved company must assess whether the licence holder has offered gambling in accordance with the gambling legislation. The company must provide comments if it finds areas where the licence holder has breached the legislation, or if it is uncertain whether a practice, procedure, etc. is in conflict with the legislation.

The approved company is not required to assess the areas of legislation covered by the “Technical Standards” in the Danish Gambling Authority’s certification programme.

If the approved company states that it believes the licence holder has breached the rules, the licence holder must indicate in part 4 of the report whether it agrees with the company’s assessment.

Submission of the report

The report must be submitted no later than 14 months after the licence has been put into use. This means that the decisive factor is not the start date of the licence itself, but the date on which the actual provision of gambling began. Licence holders offering both betting and online casino must submit only one report covering both licences, provided that the licences were put into use at the same time.

The report must be completed and submitted in Danish; however, it may be completed in English if an authorised translation is submitted at the same time.
