Certification programme

The certification program for land-based bingo applies to the use of random number generators for the drawing of winning numbers when running land-based bingo according to section 16 of the Executive Order on land-based bingo. Licence holders must always be certified in accordance with the parts of the certification programme applicable to their gambling offerings.

For land-based bingo, in addition to the "Testing and Inspection Standards", the certification program consists of the documents; General Requirements, Information Security Management and Change Management Programme. If the RNG used has contact to the Internet, the Penetration Test document must also be used.

Please note that the current certification programme for land-based bingo will be updated after supplier licenses are introduced in the liberalised gambling market. These will mainly be minor linguistic corrections, clarification of definitions and a split of the certification programme, as supplier licenses are only introduced for betting and online casino. This work is expected to be completed during 2025.
